Interim Car Servicing

  • Check operation of light switches and horn
  • Check windscreen wipers, washers, and screen condition (chips & cracks)
  • Check all exterior lights and mirrors
  • Check spare tyre and rear wiper
  • Check safety belts
  • Check drive shafts, gaiters, couplings
  • Check exhaust system and underside of the car
  • Check brake fluid lines, shocks, springs, mountings, steering rack & linkages
  • Check tyre condition and pressure
  • Check wheel bearings
  • Visual brake inspection (pads, discs, shoes, etc.)
  • Check for fuel, power steering, oil and coolant leaks
  • Check anti-freeze level & strength
  • Drain engine oil and replace filter
  • Fill with fresh engine oil
  • Top up windscreen fluid with additive
  • Check brake fluid level
  • Check drive belts (fan/auxiliary)
  • Check power steering fluid
  • Check handbrake and clutch adjustments

Full Car Service

Includes everything from the Interim Service, plus:

  • Check brake fluid water content
  • Replace spark plugs if necessary
  • Drain & replace engine oil
  • Adjust brakes where necessary
  • Replace oil filter
  • Replace or advise on fuel filter (depending on make/model/mileage)
  • Replace air filter
  • Remove all wheels & internally inspect brakes
  • Adjust handbrake
  • Check timing belt and advise (based on date, mileage, make, model & engine type)
  • Check fan belt, timing belt or timing chain (recommended every 36,000–90,000 miles / 2–5 years)
  • Pollen filter replacement (recommended every 10,000–20,000 miles)
  • Coolant replacement (recommended every 30,000–80,000 miles or 4 years)
